Smurf pose sheet

I always like to play around with posing a character before I begin animating it! This allows me to feel like I can get inside it, him, (or her). As it turned out, the Smurfs are priportioned almost exactly like Micky Mouse! Go figure!

Zorg snaps!

I did these animation poses for a presentation at my sons pre-school.
This was to demonstrate the power of just two images tp convey a thought.
India ink with brush and Dr Martin Dyes on bristle board.

Rock guitar poses!

These are some poses for some Rocktoons animation!

And then theres this!

This was my first flash animation test... but that's me dancing. *teehee!*

Character Designs

Here are a few more character designs I did while working at Thunk Studios! These are brush pens I bought in Japan, all exept the green one! And as you can see, they are done on real animation paper!

Heres a caricature of uncle Joe!..He was movin mighty slow!

Car Designs

I have always loved drawing cars and hot rods! Here are just a few I have done with a variety of mediums. From brush pen, pastel and wash on construction paper, to using the airbrush as a pen on canvas as in the ramcharger one.

This little random rough is a storyboard panel done in prismacolor pencil.

Future Guitarist

This is a character I designed for a show I have been developing with some of my animation cohorts!
This was done with an old style felt tip marker and prismacolor pencils! I was looking for smooth against texture.
